Biography
Aliki Pappa was born in Athens in 1982. In 2004, she graduated from the Department of Theatre Studies at the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She subsequently studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts, in the 7th Painting Workshop under Professor Yannis Psychopedis, while also attending the Sculpture Workshop under Professor Nikos Tranos. During her studies, she was awarded the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY) scholarship twice (2006–2007, 2007–2008), as well as the IKY Prize for the academic years 2005–2006 and 2006–2007. She graduated with honours in 2010. She has worked as a set and costume designer with theatre companies and has taught in primary education. Since 2009, she has been teaching Freehand Drawing to teenagers and Painting to children. Since 2007, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. In 2012, she held her first solo exhibition, Leaving Room, at Kappatos Art Gallery in Athens. In 2024, she presented the two-person exhibition "Heart of Darkness" at 3Portes Gallery in Ioannina.
