Giorgos Alexandridis

Biography

Giorgos Alexandridis was born in Thessaloniki in 1980. He studied marble sculpture in Tinos and sculpture at the Athens School of Fine Arts. Since 2019, he has been an Assistant Professor at the Athens School of Fine Arts, where he teaches Ceramics. He had a solo exhibition in 2018 and took part in the 6th Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art (2017). He has also participated in group exhibitions at museums and galleries. His visual work addresses issues such as social inequalities, discrimination and exclusion, migration, living conditions, violence, war and systems of power.
